Covid-19 Health and Safety Guide


During the COVID-19 outbreak, it is very critical for all of us to act responsibly. We all need to do our part to ensure each other’s safety. Clarkridge Career Institute has taken some strict measures and will continue to do so to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, staff and community. We are doing our part to ensure your safety!

Now we request you to follow the COVID-19 Prevention Methods and do your part in keeping the community safe.

Here are some of the actions you must take to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

  1. Stay home as much as possible
    • Plan ahead and reduce the number of visits to grocery shops, pharmacies and banks.
    • Do not use public transport unless absolutely necessary.
    • Do not host or attend large gatherings
    • Do not visit members who are in an at-risk group.
  1. Practice good Hand hygiene

Practicing good hand hygiene is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others from respiratory infections such as COVID-19.

  • There are a few factors that contribute to a good hand hygiene.
    • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 15 seconds
    • Wash your hands as frequently as possible
    • Use hand sanitizer when handwashing is not an option

  1. Respiratory etiquettes

Having good respiratory etiquettes can have a huge impact in preventing the spread of respiratory viruses such as COVID-19

Public Health Ontario recommends the following steps to be followed to minimize the spread of droplets from coughing or sneezing:

  • turning head away from others
  • maintaining 2-metre separation from others
  • covering nose and mouth with tissue
  • immediate disposal of tissues into waste after use
  • immediate hand hygiene after disposal of tissues
