Learning Outcomes
This program includes all mandatory objectives set forth in the Ministry of Transportation’s Commercial Truck Driver Training Standard (Class A), released July 2016. Subjects of the program include:

During the course of our training students will learn the skills required for a career as an AZ Commercial Driver. Our program covers the laws and procedures that regulate the trucking industry. Training will include but is not limited to the following:
✔️The environmental conditions that affect equipment performance
✔️Basic operating and vehicle manoeuvring skills to ensure they are confident behind the wheel.
✔️The rules and practices for safe operation.
✔️Students will gain the skills required to obtain a commercial driver position within the transportation sector.
Requirements
✔️Minimum 18 years of age
✔️Hold a valid Ontario class G license
✔️Demonstrate a minimum of an Ontario Grade 10 literacy level or equivalent
✔️Pass a Ministry of Transportation driver’s medical and visual examination.
✔️Pass written test of rules of road and signs
